Now that we are a little less than two weeks away from our trek to Southeast Asia (Ah!!), I’m re-starting the process of packing up my life into my backpack. Lists are being made, clothes are being sorted, and hair is being pulled out.

I think it goes without saying that after Oktoberfest we were looking for a little “down time”. I was still trying to get over an annoying cold and we were mentally and physically burnt-out after two days of “prost’ing” with everyone and anyone.
So, you’ve decided that this will be the year that you cross Oktoberfest off your #bucketlist. Your ticket is booked, you’ve gathered your friends, and you’ve mentally prepared your liver for a fun weekend.
Prague was probably the most excited that I was for Eastern Europe. Everything that I have heard about Prague, from the people that I know, is nothing short of a rave review. “The beer is cheap, the city is beautiful, and did I mention the beer is cheap?” Is basically everyone’s line of thinking when it comes to Prague.
For the last (almost) four months, Casey and I have been backpacking all around Europe and now we are in Central America. In January, we will head to Southeast Asia to continue our Round the World trip.
Part two of a four part series on Eastern Europe: If you missed yesterday’s post on Budapest, you can see that here. Prague and Berlin to come!
Visiting Eastern Europe was very high on my #bucketlist for this European adventure and it well exceeded my expectations. There is so much that could be said about each of these awesome cities, but I’ve compiled some of my favorite parts of each place to hopefully make your trip planning a little easier!

After relaxing for 11 days in the Greek Islands (tough life, I know), we headed up to Athens to re-acclimate ourselves with “normal” city life and do a little sightseeing.
Well hellooo there!
It’s been a little while since my last post. A month, if we’re being more specific. And for that, I am sorry.
I’m not going to give a laundry list of excuses for my lack of updating the blog. The last month has been crazy and exhausting and it honestly just fell to the bottom of my priority list.
Now that it has been about two months of us traveling through Europe, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on what, in my opinion, Europeans are doing better than Americans (and in another post I will do the reverse). So here it goes…
